Pirate You! Virtual Program

At Rockport-Fulton ISD, we believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for life beyond graduation. We are incredibly proud of our schools, our updated facilities, and the opportunities we offer in fine arts, athletics, and career pathways, we also recognize that one model does not fit every student. Some students need flexibility due to work, health, or family responsibilities. Our responsibility is to meet those needs as a free public school. As the landscape of education continues to change, so do the needs of our students and families. Today, learning is no longer limited to a single setting or schedule. Flexibility in how students access their education must become part of meeting them and their families where they are, while still holding firm to high expectations for learning and success.

That is why we are launching Pirate You! Virtual Program.

Pirate You is a TEA-aligned online virtual program that provides students with a flexible learning structure while maintaining the same academic rigor, accountability, and expectations as our traditional classrooms. This is not an easier option. It is a different path designed for students who are ready to take ownership of their learning, stay engaged daily asynchronously, and meet the same expectations for daily attendance-login, performance, and achievement.

Students enrolled in Pirate You will continue to work toward a high school diploma and remain connected to the Pirate experience. They will still have access to traditional opportunities such as school events, homecoming, prom, and graduation.

The program will offer two pathways:

A full online virtual option for students who need a fully flexible schedule and can manage their learning independently, launching in School Year 2026-2027.

A hybrid option for students who can take online classes while still participating in extracurricular activities at their zoned campus.
