Mrs. Ruiz

Hello! My name is Katie Ruiz, and I am the Educational Diagnostician serving Fulton Elementary and Rockport-Fulton Middle School. I am passionate about supporting students, families, and educators by identifying each student's unique strengths and needs to help them achieve success.

I enjoy collaborating with teachers, parents, and campus staff throughout the evaluation process to ensure students receive the support and services they need to thrive. My goal is to make the special education process as positive, collaborative, and student-centered as possible.

I earned my master's degree and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership. I am committed to continuing my professional growth so I can better serve the students and families of Rockport-Fulton ISD.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, exploring the Texas coast, and making memories with family. I am honored to be part of the Rockport-Fulton ISD family and look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families throughout the school year.
