Public meeting notice for availability of equitable services for private nonprofit schools
Attention: Private Non-Profit Schools and Families
Students residing within the Rockport Fulton ISD attendance boundaries, but attend private non-profit schools, may be eligible to receive supplemental educational equitable services from the following programs:
- Title I, Part A Improving Basic Programs
- Title II, Part A Preparing, Training, Recruiting High Quality Teachers, Leaders, Principals and other School Leaders
- Title III, Part A English Learners
- Title IV, Part A Student Support & Academic Enrichment Grant
A private school must have nonprofit status to be eligible to participate in federally funded services. Private nonprofit schools interested in learning more about the federal program services are invited to attend an informational and planning meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024 in the Live Oak Learning Center cafeteria at 4:30 PM.
All parents of students served on participating Title I campuses are also invited to attend this informational and planning meeting. Schools that receive federal program services must comply with all required federal policies and procedures. This meeting will be in conjunction with information offered in regards to the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) funded special education and related services.
